The chairman Ijede Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Motunrayo Gbadebo – Alogba, has joined in celebrating fathers in Ijede and around the world on the occasion of Father’s Day.
In a statement she signed commemorating the celebration today, Hon. Gbadebo – Alogba, appreciated fathers for their commitment and sacrifices.
“Today, I celebrate all fathers in Ijede LCDA and around the world on the occasion of Father’s Day.
“Father’s Day is an opportunity to recognize and appreciate the commitment, and quiet sacrifices of men in building our families and community,” she acknowledged.
She assured that her government would continue to support families by continuing to implement policies that complement what fathers are doing in their homes:
“As a government, we remain committed to supporting families through policies that ensure access to quality healthcare, education and a safer environment.
“To all fathers, thank you for your unending love, leadership, and guidance. Today and always, we honour your presence, your values, and the immeasurable impact you make in shaping lives and building society.”
