The Chairmanship aspirant of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Igbogbo/Baiyeku Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hammed Olalekan Aroyewun (HOA), has expressed deep appreciation to fathers in the council and globally for their untiring efforts in keeping their families together and building the nation.
The APC candidate gave the commendations in a statement commemorating Father’s Day today.
“To all our great fathers… this one is for you.
“We may not say it often enough, but we appreciate how you wake up before the sun rises just to make sure your family never lacks.
“We commend how you hold our families and our communities together even when things are tough. How you carry your children’s dreams on your back, how you hide your own worries behind a smile, and how your presence alone brings peace to the home are all cherished,” he said.
Aroyewun thanked fathers for being extra – ordinary beings carrying enormous responsibilities.
“More than being fathers, you are builders, protectors, mentors, and silent warriors. You give your all, even when no one is watching.
“We are proud of you. We are indebted to you!
“Happy Father’s Day to every dad, stepdad, granddad, uncle, and father figure.”
