Hon. Aro Moshood Donates 300 KVA Transformer To Harmony Frontier CDA

Residents of Harmony Frontier Community Development Association (CDA) rejoicing over the new 300KVA transformer donated to them by Hon. Aro Moshood Abiodun (AMA) on Saturday.

The representative of Ikorodu Constituency II, Hon. Aro Moshood Abiodun (AMA) has donated another transformer to a community in need. The brand new 300KVA transformer is donated in fulfilment of his campaign promises. He has been donating since last year.

The new transformer which was donated to the Harmony Frontier Community Development Association (CDA) at LAWMA Road 2, Ewu-Oliwo Elepe, Ikorodu, Lagos State, on Saturday, is expected to ease the power burden on the residents, boost local businesses, and improve the quality of life in the area.

According to a statement by his Media Director/Personal Assistant, Razaq Kabiru Babatunde, the transformer, which was officially handed over to the community on Saturday, marks a significant milestone in the ongoing efforts to improve electricity supply and infrastructure in the Ewu-Oliwo Elepe axis — a community that has grappled with power challenges for years.

Hon. Abiodun, in his remarks reiterated his dedication to serving the people and improving living conditions across Ikorodu.

“Today is a reminder that public service is about the people. I made a promise, and I am proud to fulfill it. This transformer will serve as a symbol of our partnership with the people of Ewu-Oliwo Elepe,” he said.

The Chairman of Harmony Frontier CDA, Pastor Oluwagbemiga Solomon Akinnusi, praised Hon. Abiodun’s intervention, noting that the donation was not only timely but also deeply symbolic of his integrity and responsiveness to the people’s needs.

“This is more than just the donation of a transformer,” Pastor Akinnusi said.

“This is about hope restored, a promise kept, and a new chapter for our community. We are grateful to Hon. Aro Moshood Abiodun for not turning his back on us after the elections.”

Residents of the area, many of whom have suffered from frequent blackouts, expressed joy and gratitude, in anticipation of a new era of stable power.

Other CDA executives and members on ground to receive the transformer included Omotayo Olufemi Adelagunja (Ex-officio), Nwoke Chibuzor Peter (Financial Secretary), Nwoke Ndubuisi Paul (Member), John Adeolu, (Member).

This donation is part of Hon. AMA’s broader plan to drive infrastructural development and social investment at the community level—a strategy that continues to earn him respect and admiration among his constituents.
