Tributes have continued to pour in for the late Fadilat Sheikh Abdullahi Dikrulah Andu, Grand Chief Imam, Igbogbo/Bayeku Local Council Development Area (LCDA), who died late Monday, at 90 years old.
He was buried at his house in Igbogbo, on Tuesday.
The representative of Ikorodu Federal Constituency, Rep. Babajimi Benson, in his tributes, described the late religious leader as a man of faith and peace who inspired a lot of people and guided Igbogbo spiritually in his lifetime.

“With a heavy heart but total submission to Almighty Allah, I join the entire Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA and the Ikorodu Federal Constituency in mourning the passing of our revered Grand Chief Imam, Alhaji Fadilat Sheikh Abdullahi Dikrulah Andu – a noble cleric, a teacher of truth, and a guiding light.
“He was more than a religious leader; he was a symbol of faith, humility, and peace – whose words inspired, whose prayers uplifted, and whose presence united. Through his decades of spiritual leadership, he nurtured the soul of Igbogbo with grace and devotion,” he said.

The three – term lawmaker sympathized with the family of the late Chief Imam, Muslim community and entire people of Igbogbo, on the demise of Fadhilat Sheikh Andu, and prayed for the repose of his soul.
“On behalf of my family, the iCare Foundation family and entire people of Ikorodu Federal Constituency, I extend heartfelt condolences to his family, the Muslim Ummah, the traditional institution, and the people of Igbogbo.

“May Almighty Allah forgives his shortcomings and grant him Al-Jannah al-Firdaus. His legacy lives on in the values he taught and the lives he touched.
“We have lost a gem. May his memory continue to guide us,” Rep. Benson prayed.
