Large Crowd Attends Interment Of Late Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA Grand Chief Imam

The remains of the Grand Chief Imam of Igbogbo/Bayeku Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Fadhilat Sheikh Dhikrullah Andullahi Andu Tanimose, were, on Tuesday, buried at his home in Igbogbo, after a Muslim prayer led by the Grand Chief Imam of Ikorodu Division, Fadhilat Sheikh Sefiudeen Ademoritan Olowo-Oribi.

The late Chief Imam, who died in his home on Monday, was 90 years old.

Many family members that were among few alllowed into his compound where he was interred, were unable to hold back tears as they cried while the remains of the late religious leader were being removed from the casket for interment.

He was known for his strong leadership within the Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA Muslim Community and Igbogbo Kingdom. He was also a unifying force who spoke truth to power in his lifetime.

After the Muslim prayer session that was held at the Igbogbo Central Mosque, his remains were led by a long motorcade and a large crowd consisting of family members, eminent Islamic clerics, political leaders, traditional Chiefs and residents of Igbogbo, Ikorodu and other neighboring communities, to his residence where he was buried.

The Adeboruwa of Igbogbo, His Royal Majesty, Oba (Barr.) Semiudeen Orimadegun Kasali, was represented at the interment by his chiefs who attended with his royal staff.

The motorcade moved down the Odofin Street where the Igbogbo Central Mosque was located and took a turn at the Ansar Ud Deen Primary School to connect the Igbogbo Road passing through Club 24, Adeboruwa Palace and finally arrived the deceased’s home in Igbogbo, where he was finally interred.

Among eminent personalities that attended the interment were Fadhilat Sheikh Kosoko, Grand Chief Imam, Ikorodu West LCDA, Imam Maja, a chieftain of Ikorodu Division Muslim Community, Asiwaju Olorunfunmi Basorun, Asiwaju of Ibeshe and APC chieftain, Chief Olusanya, a notable Ikorodu and Igbogbo son and also brother to Asiwaju Olusanya, Mrs Oluwakemi Kalesanwo, Director, Lagos State Agency for Mass Education, Hammed Olalekan Aroyewun (HOA), APC Chairmanship candidate, Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA, Alhaji Sheriff Jinadu, Chairman, Igbogbo Day Planning Committee, 2025/2027 among many others,
