The Andu Sokefun Family of Igbogbo has announced the passage of Fadhilat Sheikh Dhikrullah Andullahi Andu Tanimose, the patriarch of the family and the Grand Chief Imam of Igbogbo/Baiyeku Local Council Development Area (LCDA) in the Ikorodu Division, Lagos State, Southwest, Nigeria.
Fadhilat Sheikh Andu Tanimose passed on Monday, June 2, 2025. He was 90 years old.
The late Islamic leader was first installed as the Chief Imam of Igbogbo Central Mosque and emerged as the Grand Chief Imam of Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA, decades after.
His remains will be buried today at 4 pm in accordance with Islamic rites.
