The consecration of His Grace, The Most Revd. Hezekhial A. Adetoro, and others by The African Church Nigeria and Overseas, has continued to attract felicitations from the congregations, especially from those in The African Church Bethel Cathedral, Ikorodu, where the newly elevated Archbishop held his last duty post as Bishop.
The Most Revd. Adetoro was the Bishop of The African Church, Lagos West Diocese, with his seat in The African Church Bethel Cathedral (ACBC), Ikorodu, which he nurtured from a Missionary into a full Diocese.
His official elevation into his new position was held at The African Church Cathedral, Ita Iyalode, Owu, Abeokuta, on Saturday, May 31.

Archbishop Adetoro had, on Thursday at The African Church General Committee’s meeting, polled 56 votes which was the highest, to get elected into the exalted position.
Prince Adebayo Ogunleye, Baba Ijo ACBC, Ikorodu and former Vice Lay President, Lagos West Diocese, wished the newly consecrated Archbishop long reign and continuous blessings.
“His Grace Sir, Archbishop H.A. Adetoro, it’s the Lord’s Doing. God Almighty is in Divine Control.
“Long shall your Anointing be Blessed & Reign in continuous Honours IJMN, Amen.

“Congratulations Again”.
The Iya Ijo, ACBC, Ikorodu, Chief (Mrs) Abike Ajose, in her own felicitation, said that the elevation is a well – deserved honour for the man of God.
“Congratulations sir. We are very proud of you. It is an honor well deserved sir.
“May the Holy Spirit of God guide and guard you. May God bless you with good health and wisdom to perform excellently in this assignment.
“Congratulations sir”.

Ven. Babatunde G.M, the ACBC Cathedral Provost, also congratulating his boss, described the elevation as the Lord’s doing.
“A Big Congratulations to HIS GRACE, MOST REV H.A ADETORO, for this New attainment in the HIERARCHY OF THE HOLY ORDER OF THE AFRICAN CHURCH.
“This is the Lord’s doing, and it’s marvelous in our sight… Glory be to God in Highest Hallelujah!!!.
“MORE FUNCTION TO FUNCTION IN THIS NEW OFFICE AND GRACE FOR GREAT ACCOMPLISHMENT IN THE SERVICE OF GOD AND HUMANITY IN JESUS MIGHTY NAME. AMEN.

The women wing of the Church, also congratulating His Grace, Archbishop Adetoro, said:
“The Women’s League of the great cathedral is felicitating with you sir, as Archbishop of the African Church. Congratulations to you, our daddy in the Lord. E ma ri emi fi lo ooo. Loruko Jesu. Amin”.
In the same vein, Prince Oluwaseyi Adelabu, a former Cathedral Council Secretary, ACBC, Ikorodu, on behalf of the Olukotun Emmanuel Adelabu family, expressed the family’s heartfelt congratulations to the Archbishop, describing his new elevation as a remarkable achievement.

“Heartfelt Congratulations to My Lord Bishop, on His Emergence as the Archbishop of The African Church.
“With immense joy and reverence, I extend my warmest congratulations to you, my Lord Bishop, on your recent elevation to the esteemed office of Archbishop of The African Church.
“This remarkable achievement is not just a personal milestone, but a divine affirmation of your unwavering commitment to the service of God, the Church and His people. Over the years, you have demonstrated exemplary leadership, deep spiritual wisdom, and a shepherd’s heart qualities that have now found their highest expression in this sacred appointment”, he said.

While stating that the emergence of His Grace Adetoro is inspiring, Adelabu also added that the development represents the trust repose in him by the Church.
“Your emergence as Archbishop is both inspiring and humbling. It reflects not only the trust and confidence reposed in you by the Church, but also the grace of God that continues to manifest through your ministry. In a time when the world is in need of a sound spiritual direction and moral clarity, your voice, your presence, and your stewardship are more vital than ever.

“As you take on this higher calling, may the Lord clothe you with even greater strength, wisdom, and discernment. May your tenure be marked by peace, growth, unity, and a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit across the body of Christ.
“Once again, congratulations, Your Grace. May the good Lord continue to bless you richly and uphold you in all your endeavours”, he said.
