A sports journalist, Bisiriyu Rafiu Olalekan, popularly called ‘LekVibe’, is attempting to write his name in history by breaking the Guinness Book of World Record in the Most Socks Worn on One Foot.

Bisiriyu would be attempting to wear 190 socks in Ikorodu, come August 31, 2025.

In a statement made available to THE IMPACT, the sports broadcaster and YouTuber said that his attempt is not aimed at a personal fame, but to use the attempt to raise support for the education of 500 kids that are residing in the slum.

The broadcaster aiming at the Guinness Book of World Record is a sports analyst on Tungba FM, IKD FM, Agege Community Radio, and also the founder of online media outlet, Astv9ja which blends media, storytelling, and activism to inspire change.

“This is not just about socks, it’s about breaking barriers and giving slum kids a shot at a future. If I can wear 190 socks on one foot, we can send 500 kids to school. That’s what this is all about”, Bisiriyu said while capturing his mission with the Guinness Record attempt.
