The Young Achievers have described the emergence of Hammed Olalekan Aroyewun (HOA) as the Chairmanship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the forthcoming Local Government elections in Igbogbo/Baiyeku Local Council Development Area (LCDA) as a welcome development for the people in the council.
Aroyewun made a decisive emergence at last Saturday’s APC primary elections held at ACME, Ikeja.
Abdulsalam Tijani, in a statement on behalf of the Young Achievers, also stated that the victory of the candidate is for the liberation of the entire students, youth and the community.

“We give all glory to Almighty Allah for making this day a remarkable and favourable one for us all.
“On behalf of all members of The Young Achievers’, I heartily congratulate Mr. Hammed Olalekan Aroyewun on his emergence as the APC flag bearer for the position of Chairman, Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA. This victory is not his alone; it is a liberation for the students, the youth, and the entire community at large.
“In our first press release, we boldly declared that this is a revolution for our LCDA. Today, the joy in the hearts of our people reflects that declaration — we rejoice with one heart, one purpose, and renewed hope,” he said.

He took out time to also express the group’s appreciation to prominent elder statesmen, political and community leaders for their roles in Aroyewun’s emergence. Also, the APC delegates that voted massively for the candidate are appreciated.
“We express our profound appreciation to our revered father, Asiwaju Olorunfunmi Basorun, and Senator Kingsley Adeseye Ogunlewe, for their invaluable endorsements. A special thank you also goes to Hon. Babajimi Benson for his unwavering support from the beginning till the very end — thank you, Sir.
“To the party delegates, we deeply appreciate your commitment and for making a decision that aligns with the collective aspirations of Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA.

“Once again, congratulations to Mr. Hammed Olalekan Aroyewun. The journey has just begun, and we stand firmly behind you as we move forward in unity and purpose.”
