Comrade Japheth Odesanya (KOLUJO), Chairmanship aspirant for Ikorodu LG

The symbol of KOLUJO Movement, Comrade Japhet Akeem Odesanya, has made a strong appeal to delegates from Ikorodu that will be casting their votes for the chairmanship candidate among the 15 aspirants.

The primary election is scheduled to hold at State APC secretariat, ACME Ikeja on Saturday.

KOLUJO in a statement to the party chieftains, members, and especially delegates that will be casting votes to decide who amongst the aspirants emerged as the candidate, appealed to their conscience and for the sake of Ikorodu and posterity, to use their mandate correctly and vote for him:

“Dear progressive delegates, with utmost sincerity and humility, as has been the trademark of your brother, myself, in the struggle for the refurbishment and repositioning of our highly prized common interest, Ikorodu; I wish to remind and appeal to your conscience and consciousness, that in the magnanimity of providence, we yet are confronted with another rare opportunity to set us on the path to glory, recovery, respect and reckoning in the comity of local governments in Lagos State.

“Our political history is replete with narratives strongly suggesting psychological weakness, occasioning intimidation in the face of undemocratic concoctions by cosmetic forces posing as progressives serving our collective interests, albeit condemning our destiny to their selfish agenda.

“The Ikorodu political atmosphere and airwaves have in the last few days been inundated with a similar gimmick, solely aimed at railroading the process with inducements of varying designs and sizes.”

KOLUJO charged the delegates to stay strong and be on the good side of history by giving him the deciding votes.

“My brothers and sisters in progress, a critical look at your individual pedigrees and antecedents clearly suggests men and women of conscience, integrity, discipline, doggedness and enviable dossiers, hence my confidence that as you answer this clarion call and question of where you all will individually be in the annals of our history, your names shall be inscribed in gold as having stood tall against any form of intimidation.

“Vote your conscience. Vote for Ikorodu’s preference. Vote for Comrade Japheth Odesanya,” he appealed.
