A chairmanship aspirant in Ikorodu Central Local Government, Hon. Ibrahim Olayinka Majekodunmi, has appealed to the All Progressives Congress, APC leaders and delegates for their support and vote in the coming primary elections.
Majekodunmi, who is one of the 15 aspirants to succeed Hon. Wasiu Adeshina as the chairman of Ikorodu Central LGA, will be going to the primary elections.
His campaign team in a statement reproduced below, said that now is the time to reward an aspirant who sacrificed his aspiration on two occasions in the interest of the party.

Warm greetings to you all.
As we approach the final phase of preparations for the upcoming Local Government elections in our dear state, we respectfully seek your esteemed support for a committed party loyalist, grassroots politician, an advocate for community development and a seasoned Accountant and Tax Adminstrator, Hon.Ibrahim Olayinka Majekodunmi
*Hon.Yinka Majekodunmi, a seasoned political figure in Ikorodu Ikorodu Local Government, has vied for the House of Assembly ticket on two separate occasions. Throughout his political journey, he has exemplified unwavering loyalty to our great party, the All Progressives Congress (APC). He has consistently shown respect for party decisions and has worked diligently for the party’s successes in both the 2019 and the 2023 general elections.
You may recall that Hon. Yinka Majekodunmi aspired for the post of member Lagos State House of Assembly (Ikorodu Constituency 1) in 2019 against the former Majority Leader and subsequently, he also aspired for the same position in 2023, where he later withdrew his aspirations and gave his support for the election of Hon. Gbolahan Ogunleye, this demostrated his respect and loyalty to the leadership and demonstrated unparalleled commitment to party loyalty.
As the party now considers its next steps and leadership direction in Ikorodu Local Government, we believe that the time to reward Hon. Ibrahim Olayinka Majekodunmi’s dedication and sacrifice is now. He is a visionary leader with a strong track record in grassroots engagement, resource management, and community development.
