The last may not have been heard of Ibrahim Alani Onibudo, a former Chairmanship aspirant for Ikorodu LG who withdrew from the race last week as its campaign team is set to merge with a leading aspirant.
Onibudo, as reported by THE IMPACT, withdrew from the race due to personal reasons.
In a chat with our reporter at the weekend, Onibudo said that his organisation is in a merger talk with a formidable aspirant.

“We at BUDO ALLEN are currently talking with another leading aspirant on a political merger. These talks are at an advanced stage with the leading aspirant and some of our party leaders.
“This merger is towards the formation of a much stronger alliance ahead of the party primaries slated for May 10, 2025.
“We are joining ideas and resources to build the strongest political alliance in the history of Ikorodu politics”, Onibudo explained.
He said that the interest of his team is to ensure that APC wins the next council election.

“Party is supreme and we are fully ready to work with our party in delivering a resounding success at the council elections on July 12, 2025.
“We remain well committed and dedicated to our party and our nation as a whole.”
