Ibrahim Onibudo Withdraws From Ikorodu LG Chairmanship Race

The Ikorodu – born Canada based young businessman, Ibrahim Alani Onibudo, popularly called ‘Prince of Quebec’ or ‘Budo Allen’ has pulled out of the race for the Ikorodu Local Government Chairmanship.

Onibudo confirmed to THE IMPACT in an online chat this afternoon.

About seven aspirants have so far collected the All Progressives Congress (APC) nomination form for the Ikorodu LG race.

The decision of Onibudo to pull out of the race due to personal reasons, THE IMPACT gathered came to many of his supporters and others rooting for him as a shock.

Confirming his decision to our reporter, Alani Onibudo said that he will be working with another credible aspirant to occupy the TOS Benson Road secretariat.

“I’m not contesting again. I’m going to work with another viable aspirant.”

While asked for the reasons he is pulling out, Onibudo said: “Personal reasons”

Responding to our reporter’s query on what he will be doing going forward, he said, “I’m still consulting”

It was gathered that many people in his camp were devastated when the news was broken to them about his withdrawal from the race at the executives meeting of his campaign group yesterday.
