Former Chief of Staff to the Chairman, Ikorodu Local Government, Mr Mabunmi Omotayo Tosin (M.O.T), has expressly stated that the administration of his former boss, Hon. Wasiu Adeshina, Chairman, Ikorodu Local Government, which he served till June last year, did not have any hand in his sojourn abroad.
Mabunmi, in a public notice he posted on THE IMPACT, clarified that he was responsible solely for his relocation abroad to pursue his advanced studies and denounced any claim that is contrary.
The former Chief of Staff said that it is important to correct the misinformation.
“My resignation, dated 13th of June 2024, from my role as Chief of Staff to the Executive Chairman Ikorodu Local Government, to pursue advanced studies abroad. This decision was driven entirely by personal academic goals and the need to relocate internationally.
“Any claim that my travel or studies were sponsored by the Chairman’s administration are categorically untrue. I am fully responsible for my relocation and educational pursuits.
“I remain grateful for the opportunity to serve our community and deeply respect the Chairman’s leadership. However, it is important to correct this misinformation to maintain transparency and uphold the trust of the public.
“Thank you for your understanding”.
