Mr Akeem Bello, 2023 Overall Best School (Public) Administrator in Nigeria

A former Commissioner for Information in Lagos State, Sir (Otunba) Ayodele Elseho, KJW, has stated that the premier college in Ikorodu Division – Oriwu Senior Model College, has earned its leadership roles among secondary schools in Nigeria, going by its remarkable feats over time.

Sir Elesho, who is the Agbaakin of Ikorodu Kingdom, made the assertion late Thursday, following the news break by THE IMPACT on the emergence of the school’s principal, Mr Akeem Oladimeji Bello who won the prestigious Presidential honour as the Overall Best Administrator (Public) School in Nigeria.

The award was presented to the school administrator during the Would Teachers’ Day celebration at the Eagle Square, Abuja.

Elehso described the development as a welcome development to the generality of Ikorodu people, stating that he is proud of the Principal’s feat.

“This is the most cheering news for me and indeed the generality of the good people of lkorodu in recent times & a very welcoming development”, Sir Elesho said.

“I am proud of the achievement of our own Mr Akeem Bello, for emerging as the best Public School Administrator throughout Nigeria, because he has successfully sustained the most glorious record set by the past Principal of the record breaking College, our own dear Alhaja Sherifat Ogunniyi, who achieved same feat just few years ago.

“Oriwu College, lkorodu, has now become one of the best Secondary Schools in the country and undisputed Leader of all Public Secondary Schools, not only in Lagos State but throughout the South West zone of Nigeria”, he said.

He charged the honoree to ensure that the system that has geared the school towards laudable feats over the years, is not only sustained, but passed on to his successor.

“I hope you will not only sustain this singular achievement, but pass on the torch of success to whoever succeed you after your glorious service in Oriwu College, our Premier Secondary School in Ikorodu”, Otunba Elesho charged.
“Congratulations to you, Mr Akeem Bello, a silent Achiever”.
