The African Church Bethel Cathedral, Ikorodu, was thrown into a mourning mood on Sunday, as the death of the immediate past People’s Warden of the Church, Senior Assistant Brigadier General (SABG) Adeyinka O. Oyejola, was announced during the Church service on that day.
Oyejola served as the Cathedral’s People’s Warden between 2017 and 2021.
He was 64 years old.
THE IMPACT gathered that late Oyejola, who was a Senior Assistant Brigadier General in The African Lads & Lasses Brigade, slumped and died while ironing his clothes in preparation for Church on Sunday, for his wife’s ordination as a Lay Reader.
