Benson Gets Certificate Of Return, Pledges More Impactful Representation

About two weeks after being re – elected for the third term to represent the people of the Ikorodu Federal Constituency, Rep. Babajimi Adegoke Benson, has received his Certificate of Return.

Rep. Benson, on February 25 during the Presidential and National Assembly elections, was massively re-elected into the House of Representatives and was returned as elected by the Returning Officer, Prof. Ayole, after polling 60,890 votes.

In a statement personally signed by the lawmaker, he thanked his constituents for their support.

“My beloved constituents, I am glad to inform you that I received my Certificate of Return to serve you for another term at the House of Representatives”, he said.

“I could not have made it without you. Your overwhelming support actualized this feat. Your love and steadfastness are very humbling for me, and I am deeply grateful for this opportunity.

“Thank you for believing in me and for giving me the opportunity to serve you again”, Rep. Benson said.

The performing lawmaker assured the people of Ikorodu that he will continue with his quality and impactful representation.

“The next four years comes with more grounds to cover, I will continue to consult with you to design and sponsor impactful constituency projects, while performing my other legislative duties optimally”, he said.

“I promise to work tirelessly to deliver on my promises and continue to contribute to development in our dear constituency. Together, we will move the Ikorodu Division to the next level. Thank you”.
