The Action Alliance candidate for Ikorodu Constituency I Assembly seat, Mr Olaiwola Adeleke Idowu, has pledged to legislate for good governance if elected as the representative of the Ikorodu Constituency I in the Lagos State House of Assembly, in the coming 2023 General Elections, while wishing constituents prosperous 2023.
Olaiwola, who expressed his gratitude to God and his entire constituents, pledged to ensure peaceful Ikorodu with economic prosperity and social harmony.
He stated this in his new year message sent to THE IMPACT.
“Here’s to a bright New Year and a fond farewell to the old. Here’s to the things that are yet to come, and to the memories that we hold. May the New Year bless you with health, wealth and happiness”, he said.
“I want to use this opportunity to express my profound gratitude to Almighty God, the owner of heaven and earth, for keeping us safe from January to the month of December. On behalf of myself, my party members and of course, the people in my constituency at large, I pray that the peace, joy and renewed mercy of God will be our heritage in Jesus name.
Speaking on his commitment to the people if giving the mandate to represent them, the AA candidate said that he will ensure a peaceful community where businesses can grow, and positive social relation will be promoted through his rebirth agenda.
“As part of my commitment to the people, through my rebirth agenda, I will make Ikorodu a peaceful and sustainable environment for habitants and businesses to thrive (e.g availability of modern social amenities; curbing of all forms of social vices; encouraging students in school with merit through bursaries and scholarship; caring for the aged; free buses and free education; manufacturing of various products through our entrepreneurial cum our research and development programme …..”, he said.
“The multiplier effects of these will contribute to the development of Ikoŕodu”, the AA candidate added.
“I wish you all happy and prosperous 2023, filled with great promises”, he prayed.
