Igbogbo Youth Coalition Partners District II, Literacy Agency, NUT On Career Talk For Students

Less than a month into office, the newly inaugurated executives of the Igbogbo Youth Coalition (IYC) is set to implement one of its agenda which is career development for secondary school students in Igbogbo.

The President of the IYC, Comrade Kazeem Ogunmuyiwa in his acceptance has listed career development programme as the core of the body’s focus in assisting the youth in the community.

In a statement signed by the IYC President, the educational programme tagged, ‘ a week career talk to all public senior secondary schools in Igbogbo and its environs, will commence on Monday, November 7, 2022, at the Zumratul – Islamiyyah Senior Grammar School, Igbogbo.

The programme starts at 9.00 am.

“Career is a lifetime occupation that every student needs to take cognisance of even before attaining their secondary level of Education”, the statement said.

“Sequel to the above, Igbogbo Youth Coalition (IYC) presents a week-long career talk for students of public senior secondary schools in Igbogbo and its environs.

“Competent, vibrant and passionate personalities are ready to impact meaningfully on the students to encourage them to be great in their respective careers.

According to the statement, IYC is partnering with the Education District II, Lagos State Agency For Mass Education, Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT), Ikorodu branch, and Igbogbo Students’ Union (ISU) among others.
