Assembly Aspirant, Taoreed Hakeem Facilitates 500KVA Transformer For Ijede Community

Mr Hakeem Babajide Taoreed, an aspirant for the Ikorodu Constituency II seat, Lagos State House of Assembly with chieftains of the Oloruntedo CDA, Igbe Kapo in Ijede LCDA, Ikorodu, during the installation of the transformer he facilitated.

An aspirant for the Ikorodu Constituency II seat, Lagos State House of Assembly, Mr Taoreed Babajide Hakeem (ACA), has facilitated a 500Kva Transformer for the people of Oloruntedo CDA,  Igbe Kapo in Ijede LCDA,  Ikorodu, Lagos State.

The leading aspirant and his team were warmly welcomed to the community by residents on Sunday, April 10, 2022, when the transformer was installed.

The 38 years old certified forensic accountant and criminal intelligence officer is aspiring to represent Ijede, Igbogbo/Bayeku  and Imota Local Council Development Areas (LCDAs), the three councils that constitutes the Ikorodu Constituency II, on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

In a statement signed by the aspirant’s media officer, Mr Lawal Nurudeen, the aspirant appreciated the community for their warm reception even though he never expected the funfair.

According to the statement, Taoreed further thanked the executive members of the CDA and the residents for their kind gesture in making sure that the Igbe community (Oloruntedo CDA and environs ) is well developed.

He also sought the support of the community towards his ambition to represent them in the Lagos State House Assembly and promised quality representation to the people of Ijede, Igbogbo/Baiyeku and Imota when elected in 2023.

The aspirant also rolled out his programmes which are centered on youths, women and the aged within the constituency, and tailored towards serving the people with all his heart.

 While thanking the Executive Governor of Lagos State Government, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, Commissioner for Local Government and Community Affairs, Dr. Wale Ahmed, Director Community Affairs, Alhaja Ewunmi and Engr. Dankuwo Abiodun for their selfless service to the State, he also assured his constituents that more infrastructural projects , youth empowerment programmes, job opportunities, amongst others would be facilitated to the communities under his representation.

The Chairman of Olorunjeda CDA, Mr Fabuluje Titus, while welcoming the aspirant and his team for the installation of the transformer, thanked them for the gesture.

A chieftain of the CDA, Comrade Babatope, on behalf of the committee and entire community, expressed their appreciation for the gesture towards the  community and showered prayers on Mr Taoreed Babajide Hakeem (ACA).

He also took time out to explain several steps taken by the community to get a standard transformer with promises from various quarters which, according to him, were unfulfilled as the community have been in total darkness for over four months.

Comrade Babatope further emphasised that the new transformer, which will serve over seven CDAs  within Igbe Kapo community, has brought delight to the residents and that the good people of Ikorodu Constituency II can be rest assured that they will be well represented at the Lagos State House of Assembly come 2023.

According to the statement, residents were further assured of enjoying great and unending dividends of democracy by electing Hakeem Babajide Taoreed, a Chartered Taxation Expert and selfless and proficient public servant of great promise as an honorable member of the Lagos State House of Assembly in the forthcoming 2023 elections on the platform of the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC ) for the seat of Ikorodu Constituency II.
