African Cathedral Church Holds Joint Harvest

His Lordship, The Rt. Rev. Hezekiah Adeleke Adetoro, Bishop, Lagos West Missionary Diocese and other officiating ministers during harvest thanksgiving on Sunday.

The African Church Bethel Cathedral, Aga, Ikorodu, on Sunday, November 8, 2020, held its 2020 harvest celebrations in grandstyle.

The celebration, which was a joint adult and children harvests, witnessed a large turnout.

His Lordship, The Rt. Rev. Hezekiah Adeleke Adetoro, Bishop, Lagos West Missionary Diocese, delivered the sermon on the theme of the celebration, ‘Harvest of Increase’.

Also, the Youth Christian Association (YCA) was presented with a gift as the best Cathedral Society at the last year’s harvest.

After the service, bazaar sales took place within the cathedral’s premises where farm produce and other items were sold as the practice of harvest dictates.

His Royal Majesty, Oba Semiudeen Orimade Kasali, the Adeboruwa of Igbogbo, was the royal father of the Day while Otunba Akinola Olagoke Awomodu was the Chairmen of the Day.

Others guests at the event were Hon. Wasiu Adeshina, Chairman, Ikorodu Local Government (Chief Harvester), Mr Goriola Erogbogbo (Guest of honour), Dr Ademuyiwa Eniayewun (Guestt of honour),  Dr Adesegun Adenekan  (Guest of honour), Elder Sonny O. Ekunkunbor  (Guest of Honour), Barr. SOK Shillings (Special guest) and Barr. Kareem Adebanjo (Special Guest) among others.
