Former IKODASS Chairman, Otunba Lam Adeshina Laid To Rest

Otunba Lamidi Gbadamosi, former IKODASS Chairman.

The former Chairman of the Ikorodu – Oga Development Association (IKODASS), Otunba Lamidi Gbadamosi, has been laid to rest.

Otunba Gbadamosi, we gathered, died around 7.00am on Monday (yesterday) and was buried the same day according to Islamic rites. He was 80-year-old.

THE IMPACT gathered that Otunba Gbadamosi, whose son is the traditional ruler of Ogijo in Ogun State and himself, the traditional head (Baale) of Owode Awomu, died in his home in Ikorodu.

It was gathered that Otunba Gbadamosi had just returned to the country recently from a trip to America and was preparing to go out on Monday when death came calling.

It was also gathered that he had asked someone to help him iron the clothes he wanted to wear for the outing.

According to the IKODASS Social Secretary, Mr Ishaq Bisiriyu Majee, the deceased, who was a former Permanent Secretary in Lagos State, was full of life before his death.

“He didn’t look like somebody that is going to die in the next ten years. He was full of life”, he said.

Otunba Gbadamosi was a multiple title holder of Otunba of lkorodu, Otunba of Ibeshe and Otunba of Agboyi – Ketu in Lagos State.
