Former National President, Oriwu College Old Students’ Association of Nigeria (OCOSAN), Alhaji Shafari Aremu Sule is dead.

Alhaji Sule was 80 and died on Thursday at a private hospital in Ikorodu.

National Secretary of the OCOSAN, Mr Kunle Olambiwoninu in a release early today announced the passage of the Octogenarian who was a respected leader within the Muslim community in Lagos State and honoured community leader in Ikorodu Division.

According to the announcement, the remains of Alhaji Sule will be buried today in accordance with the Islamic tenets at his resident.

“We announce the passing on of Late Alhaji Shafari Aremu Sule the former National President of Oriwu College Old Students’Association of Nigeria” the statement signed by the National Secretary, OCOSAN said.

“He will be buried today, Thursday, 30th July 2020 by 2:pm at his residence no 2, Remilekun Ayangade Street behind grammar school Oke Ota Ikorodu.

Late Alhaji Sule was the Chairman of the Oriwu College at 70 Anniversary that organized a befitting week – long activities in commemoration of the anniversary of the premier college in Ikorodu last year.

The deceased was also former President of the prestigious Oriwu Club.

He is survived by children and grandchildren.
