Alliance for Democracy candidate for Ikorodu Constituency I seat, Hon. Shamsideen Bork Ayanlaja has lost his base in the contest for the sole seat at the Lagos State House of Assembly
He lost to the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate in the Saturday’s Governorship and Assembly elections
The AD candidate polled 7 votes while the incumbent occupant of the contested and the APC candidate, Hon. Sanai Agunbiade scored 45 votes
Hon. Ayanlaja who was the former Councilor voted at 12.01pm at polling unit 011, Isele 2 (ward A2), Ayilara, Ikorodu
APC’s Governorship candidate also scored 52 votes to beat AD candidate who polled 5 votes.
The PDP Governorship and Assembly candidates polled 6 votes each
