Adegbose Phase 2 Community Development Association in Igbogbo/Bayeku Local Council Development Area of Ikorodu Division, Southwest, Nigeria, on Wednesday, January 16, took delivery of a new 500 KVA, 33/0.415 KV transformer.

The purchase of the new transformer cost the community the sum of N2.5milion.

The transformer was purchased from the money contributed by the residents of the community who decided to address their epileptic power challenge since intervention from the government and electric company was not forthcoming.

Chairman of the CDA, Alhaji Jinad Abdulateef, announced the delivery at 4.37p.m on Wednesday, January 16, 2019,  on the community’s WhatsApp platform.

The community has also taking up the responsibility of grading its roads annually, providing security for residents and their properties and redistributing electricity among residents.
