The holder of the Guinness World Record in the Longest Marathon Reading Aloud, Mr Olubayode Treasure Olawunmi, is not yet satisfied with what he has achieved so far in the reading contest as he is set to attain another world record.

Bayode, who read for 120 hours two years ago to break the world record, is set to read for twenty days, which is about 480 hours, with other four members of his foundation, iRead Afrika, in August this year.

He made this disclosure in an exclusive interview with THE IMPACT during the week in Ikorodu.

“Yes, we have to keep breaking bounds because as human beings, we have enormous potentials. We are looking at July and August this year for another record”, he stated.

“We are going to be reading for twenty days to set another record and show the world that Africa indeed mean the business of reading because our lives depend on it.

“The contest this year is going to include five people and we are going to be reading for twenty days which is about 480 hours of reading.

“We are going to be reading on iRead Afrika platform”.

He assured that THE IMPACT will be informed as more information unfolds on the contest.
