Wale JAGUN The Lagos State House of Assembly on Monday, May 13, resolved to wade into the crisis rocking the Lagos State Polytechnic (LASPOTECH) over the disagreement between the management and staff of the institution. The Lagos State House of Assembly on Monday passed the state’s 2019 Appropriation Bill of N873. 532 billion into law presented to it by the Governor of the State, Mr Akinwunmi Ambode in February. The passage followed the adoption of the report and recommendations of the House Committee on Appropriation headed by Hon. Gbolahan Yishawu The House approved N393, 841, 387, 020 from the Consolidated Revenue Fund for Recurrent Expenditure and N479, 691, 073, 705 from Development Revenue Fund for Capital Expenditure. Wale JAGUN The Lagos State House of Assembly on Monday evening passed the 2019 budget. The budget was presented by the Governor of the State, Mr Akinwunmi Ambode in February. The total budget is N873, 532, 460, 725; capital expenditure stands at N479, 691, 073, 705 and recurrent expenditure is N393, 841, 387, 020. Members of the State Assembly passed the budget with additional N21 billion. The original budget of N852.317 billion was presented by the governor.
