The Executive Chairman, Ijede Local Council Development Area (ILCDA), Hon Motunrayo Gbadebo – Alogba, has assured of her administration’s commitment to recognition and preservation of traditional and cultural values of Ijede people.
Hon. Gbadebo – Alogba in a statement commemorating the 2026 Isese Day, emphasised the importance of tradition as a rallying point for the people.
She also stressed the need for its protection and preservation for other generations.
”I extend my warmest felicitations to the traditional rulers and worshippers across Ijede LCDA on the occasion of Isese Day.”

”In honoring our ancestors through these sacred rites, this annual observance celebrates the richness of our cultural heritage and the enduring values of the Yoruba people.”
”As a government, we recognise tradition as a unifying force that fosters peace and harmony. It is our duty to safeguard this legacy and pass it on intact to generations yet unborn,” Hon. Gbadebo- Alogba said.
She urged residents of Ijede to appreciate continually their cultural values.
”I therefore call on every son and daughter of Ijede to continue embracing and preserving the customs that define us. I pray this year’s Isese Day brings you joy, peace, and deep spiritual fulfillment.
