The Executive Chairman, Igbogbo/Baiyeku Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Omo’ba Hammed Olalekan Aroyewun (HOA), on Saturday, inspected the construction of Meri Road linking Bola Ahmed Tinubu/Igbogbo and Oba Molaja Ogunlewe Roads.
The construction which started some months back stopped when the ceaseless rainfall started, but construction resumed about three days ago when HiTech Construction moved back to site with their equipment, after the rains stopped.
Incidentally, Chairman Aroyewun was inspecting the project when our reporter was visiting to access the HiTech resumption on site.
Aroyewun speaking with our reporter during the inspection said that he was visiting to see the level of work after the construction giant resumed back to site after weeks of ceaseless rainfall.
When completed the road will have drainage at both sides.
