Former Chairmanship Candidate, Hon. Akinola Commends Mayor Apanisile Over Apeka Road, Army Children’s School Construction

A major stakeholder in the All Progressives Congress (APC) and former Ikorodu North LCDA Chairmanship candidate, Hon. (Dr.) Oladeji Oluniyi Akinola, has commended the Executive Chairman, Ikorodu North Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Mayor Ameen Apanisile, as he flagged -off the construction of High School Road, Apeka, Agbala, and the reconstruction of Army Children Primary School, Losi-Onikoko, Odogunyan.

Mayor Apanisile flagged -off the two projects at the weekend to commemorate his first year in office as the Executive Chairman of the council.

Dr. Akinola stated that the road and school projects are clear indications that the administration of Mayor Apanisile is focused on embarking on impactful programmes for residents of Ikorodu North LCDA.

“I join well-meaning residents of my ward, Agbala Ward E3, Ikorodu North LCDA, to felicitate with Hon. Ameen Apanishile, Executive Chairman of Ikorodu North LCDA on the official launch of two landmark infrastructure projects in our dear LCDA.

“The construction of High School Road, Apeka, Agbala, and the reconstruction of Army Children Nursery and Primary School, 174 Battalion, Odogunyan, are clear testaments to your administration’s commitment to purposeful and people-oriented governance.”

The educationist cum community developer stressed that while the road project will ease traffic challenges in and around Apeka -Agbala, the school facility will improve the condition of learning within the council area.

“These projects will no doubt ease the traffic flow along the Apeka-Agbala axis, and at the same time, the renewed school facility will provide a conducive learning environment for our children, the leaders of tomorrow.

“Your demonstration and resolve to leave enduring legacies of development across Ikorodu North is worthy of commendation. May this administration continue to be blessed with the wisdom and resources to deliver more dividends of democracy to our people.

“Finally, special thanks to Hon. Babajimi Benson for enhancing Renewed Hope Agenda in Ikorodu.

“Once again, congratulations on this remarkable milestone,” Dr Akinola said.
