-Remains buried at Lajo house

Late Yahya Ola Ajalogun, the Coordinator of iCare Foundation, and Legal Adviser of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Ikorodu West Local Council Development Area (LCDA), would have added another year today, if the cold hands of death had not snatched him away less than 24 hours to his birthday.
Ajalogun who died early Thursday, July 16th, celebrates his birthday every July 17th.
He was one of the leading supporters of the candidate of the APC for Ikorodu Constituency, Prince Oluwatoyin Gafaar Bolowotan, and played very prominent role in the emergence of the former Director -General, Lagos State Sports Commission as the flag bearer of the ruling party in the recently concluded primary.

His unfortunate death at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH) after being transferred from General Hospital Badagry after he slumped, has thrown his family, group and entire Ikorodu community into a mourning mood.
His remains were interred the same day at his house located at Lajo Community in Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA of Ikorodu Division.
At his burial were the Executive Chairman, Omo’ba Hammed Aroyewun, Councillors, Supervisors, APC chieftains, chieftains of iCare Foundation, chieftains and members of Lajo and family members.

The Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Lagos State, Comrade Lekan Biliamin Oba, mourning late Ajalogun described him as an impactful community leader:
”We lost an impactful community builder.
”Its hard to comprehend that you are gone, Egbon. I am short of words, honestly. I remember our jokes and heartwarming smiles.”
”May God rest your soul.
“May Allah give the family the fortitude to bear this loss.”

Hon. Segun Anifowoshe, former Sole Adminstrator, Ikorodu West LCDA, mourning his former Personal Assistant, said:
” Ajalogun was a dedicated, committed, hardworking and fearless young man. He approaches every assignment or task given to him with utmost dedication and commitment.
“He was a dependable and very trustworthy. We are all going to miss him dearly. I can’t believe that Ajalogun, my former aide is gone.
“May God grant him eternal rest.”

Hon. Gbadamosi Olaomo, a Supervisor with Ikorodu West LCDA, mourning the demise of the APC Legal Adviser in his council, said that he found it difficult to accept that Ajalogun had passed on until he saw his remains wrapped for burial.
“Not until I saw your wrapped body ready for Internment before it dawned on me you had left me. Islam didn’t give me another chance to see your face anymore but I still see your face virtually around me.
“I am believing in God that your sins are forgiven for your good deeds live for you. Rest on Comrade. Habaaaaa, I lost a gem. Habaaaaa, Yaya our plans shattered. God, I give you all the Glory. Rest in perfect peace Padi mi to sure. Oh my God,” Hon. Olaomo lamented. .

UK based Ikorodu son, Hameed Ganiu, also mourning his passage, wrote:
“Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un.
“Ẹgbọn Ajalogun, this is so sad and painful.
”May Allah Almighty forgive all your shortcomings and grant you Al-Jannat Firdaus.
”And may Allah grant the family the fortitude to bear this great loss.
”May your soul rest in perfect peace, Ẹgbọn. Ameen.”

Ibrahim Alani Onibudo, former Chairmanship aspirant for Ikorodu Central LG who is based in Canada, described Yahya Ajalogun’s death as unbelievable.
“This is so unbelievable!
”Inna Lillahi Wa Inna Ilayhi Rajihun. From Him we came. To Him we shall return.
“May their souls rest in perfect peace… “
A public commentator and economist, Oke Godwin Olaoluwa, in his own condolence, wrote:
“Ina lilahi wa ina ilahi rajiun. May their souls rest in peace. May God grant the family the fortitude to bear their loss.”
