The death of Mr Femi Adinlewa, the Chief Press Secretary (CPS) to the Chairman, Ikorodu North Local Council Development Area (LCDA), has been announced.
It was gathered that he slumped and died early today while preparing for the Church service.
His first son, confirmed the sad development on THE IMPACT this morning.
”THIS IS MR ADINLEWA’S FIRST SON.
“WE LOST HIM ALREADY”, the bereaved boy said.

A senior political office holder in the council who was with family on hearing about his death, also confirmed the shocking news.
He said that information gathered from the family indicated heart attack.
”Yes, it is confirmed. CPS has gone. We are here with the family. We were told that he was preparing for church this morning when he slumped and died.
”Family members confirmed that he played with them till late night yesterday after which they all went to bed without showing any sign of trouble,” he added.

Mrs Bisi Bello Mustapha, a retired school administrator who was very close to late Adinlewa especially on WhatsApp group connected with Ikorodu Division, while also mourning the late CPS, confirmed on THE IMPACT platform that they chatted together on another platform on Saturday.
Late Adinlewa, until his death is the Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ikorodu Division and the Chief Press Secretary to Hon. Ameen Apanisile, the Executive Chairman, Ikorodu North LCDA.
He was a former Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) before he decamped into the APC some years back.

Meanwhile, concerned members of THE IMPACT WhatsApp platform have expressed shock at Femi ADIN’s death, whom many described as a jolly good fellow, easy – going and very engaging on the platform.
Mr Oke Godwin Olaoluwa, paying tribute to the late Adinlewa, wrote:
”May his soul rest in peace. May God grant the family the fortitude to bear the loss.”
National President, Oriwu College Old Students’ Association of Nigeria (OCOSAN), Alhaji MBS Arole, in his own tribute, also stated:
”Inna lillah wa inna ilaehi rajiun…

“May Allah (SWT) accept his return and grant his gentle soul eternal rest in Aljannah Fridaus…”
Elder Olu Omoniyi, a chieftain of the APC in Ikorodu North LCDA in his own comment described his death as sad.
”Sad and Devastating to say the least.”
Former Chairmanship candidate in Ikorodu North LCDA, Dr Oladeji Akinola, also commenting said:
”It is heartbreaking news. May God Almighty be with the family.
“May his gentle soul rest in perfect peace.”
