Achievers’ Crew Holds 2nd Bi- Annual Retreat

‎A social, economic and community -focused group, The Achievers’ Crew, is set to hold its second bi – annual retreat in its quest to continue to engage and develop members’ capacity and work towards achieving its aims and objectives.

‎The retreat slated for NS Hotel, Ebute Ajebo Road, Imota, will hold between Thursday, June 18 and Saturday, June 20, 2026.

‎This year’s retreat is themed: “Achievers Crew: Navigating the Next Decade for Impact”, while the workshop topic focuses on “Unspoken Battle: Understanding Men’s Mental Health”.

‎During the three days retreat, the group also planned to launch an endowment fund for its community projects and Achievers’ diary/brochure.

‎Elder statesman and a chieftain of the Governance Advisory Council (GAC), Sen. (Dr.) Kingsley Adeseye Ogunlewe, will chair the main retreat on Friday, June 19, 2026. He is also expected to deliver a keynote address on the theme, while a senior lecturer, Department of Mass Communication, Lagos State University of Science and Technology (LASUSTECH), Ikorodu, Dr. Steven Anu’ Adesemoye, is the guest speaker.

‎The representative of Ikorodu Federal Constituency, Rep. Babajimi Benson, who is the Guest of Honour, is also the Chief Unveiler.

‎Also expected at the Friday event as Special Guests are Hon. Aro Moshood Abiodun (AMA), representative, Ikorodu Constituency II, Hon. Gbolahan Ogunleye representative of Ikorodu Constituency II, Dr. Saheed Ibikunle, Permanent Member, LSUBEB, Prof. Olumide Metilelu, Commissioner, LASIEC and Hon. Nurudeen Solaja, former representative, Ikorodu Constituency II, Mr Waheed Kasali, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Tertiary Education, Lagos State and Mrs Kemi Kalesanwo, Director, Mass Literacy Agency, Lagos Statea.

‎The five council chairmen in Ikorodu Division, are also expected to attend the retreat in support of one of their own, Omo’ba Hameed Olalekan Aroyewun (HOA), Executive Chairman, Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA, the Deputy Chairman, Board of Trustees (BoT), Achievers’ Crew.

‎According to the Chairman, 2026 Retreat Planning Committee, attendance at the retreat, which is scheduled to upscale members’ capacity, is strictly by invitation.
