Aroyewun Urges Muslims To Celebrate Eid -ul -Adha With Love, Compassion

‎The Executive Chairman, Igbogbo/Baiyeku Local Council Development Area (LCDA) of Ikorodu Division, Lagos State, Southwest, Nigeria, Omo’ba Hammed Olalekan Aroyewun (HOA) has charged the Muslim faithful on the need to celebrate the Eid-il- Adha today showing love and compassion to others.

‎He also urged Muslims in Igbogbo/Baiyeku to use the occasion of the celebration to rededicate themselves to collective progress and development of the council.

‎Aroyewun gave the charge in a statement today to commemorate the annual and biggest Muslim celebration globally – Eid – ul-Adha popularly called “Ileya ” in the local parlance.

‎”Eid Mubarak to the good people of Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA. I specially wish all of us a happy Sallah and I pray we witness many more of the season in peace and prosperity.

‎”Every Eid-ul-Adha presents an opportunity to revitalise our spirit of humanity. Beyond the usual celebration, let’s reach out to one another with love and compassion and let’s rededicate ourselves to advancing our collective progress.

‎”The myriads of challenges facing us as a people mean that our dedication to our country must be strengthened so that our hope can be renewed and actualised. As we aim to achieve glory and put smiles on our faces, we must continue to care and do good always.”

‎He prayed for the acceptance of the celebration prayers and wish Muslims joyful celebration.

‎”In this blessed season of Eid-ul-Adha, may Almighty Allah accept our prayers, sacrifices, and acts of devotion. May this celebration bring unending peace, and abundant blessings to every home across our society. May Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA continue to witness growth, progress, and prosperity in all ramifications.
