The Executive Chairman, Igbogbo/Baiyeku Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Omo’ba Hameed Olalekan Aroyewun (HOA), has charged members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the council, to troop out in large numbers and cast their votes for Rep. Babajimi Benson and return him to the House of Representatives in Abuja.
Aroyewun, in a statement on Saturday, made the passionate appeal on the ground that the three -term lawmaker is a performing lawmaker whose representation has been remarkable and needed to be supported to continue his impactful representation.
Members of the APC in Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA are expected to vote in the APC primary election slated for today at Ward C1: Methodist Primary School, Oba Omolaja Ogunlewe Road, Igbogbo; Ward C2: UAMC Eleja Primary School, Igbogbo; Ward C3: Community Health Centre, Baiyeku and Ward C4: Kith & Kin Field, Ibeshe Road
“I want to passionately appeal to all registered members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA, to come out in their large numbers today and vote for our performing representative, Rep. Babajimi Adegoke Benson, MHR.
“I urge every single APC member across this constituency to rise this morning with one mission — walk proudly to your voting centres and cast your vote for Rep. Babajimi Adegoke Benson.
“We have all seen the remarkable work this great man has done for our people. Year after year, he has remained committed, accessible, and dedicated to the growth and development of Ikorodu Federal Constituency”.
Aroyewun further stated that:
“In these few years of his representation, JB delivered tangible results. JB stood firmly with the people. Roads and streets that were once impassable were fixed under his leadership. Communities that once felt neglected were remembered and empowered by JB.
“This is the kind of leader we are voting for today. Not just a politician seeking office, but a servant-leader who has earned the trust, confidence, and support of the people through hard work and visible achievements.
He also added:
“I am only reminding you of what you already know.
“You know what purposeful leadership looks like because you have experienced it under JB.
“You know what true representation means because JB has consistently represented the interests of the people. Together, let us deliver a resounding victory for Rep. Babajimi Adegoke Benson today”.
