Hon. Alogba Kareem Adeleke, an aspirant for the Ikorodu Constituency I, Lagos State House of Assembly has assured that he will be a steady voice for Ikorodu people and he will not tremble in his quest to fight and bring what are necessary back to the people of the constituency.

He said that his focus would be on how to ensure that necessary projects that will impact lives in Ikorodu are included in the budget. He added that technological advancement and empowerment will also be key to his representation.

Alogba who is aspiring for the seat on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), said the foregoing while speaking with journalists at the weekend.

“We need a voice; a voice that will not tremble; a voice that will speak for the voiceless in Ikorodu; the voice that will speak for our mothers, and a representation that will bring Ikorodu to a greater height. That is what we need.”

Speaking on his agenda if elected to represent the Ikorodu Constituency 1, Alogba said that the budgetary process would be his major focus to get developmental projects appropriated for.

“Well, first of all, there are so many things that we are going to look at. If you look into the last budget, none of Ikorodu projects was included. I stand to be corrected. These are little things that can go a long way for the people of Ikorodu. This is what is going to reach the child next door.

“Literally, technology and its development in Ikorodu is very low. Empowerment of our girl child and our mothers need to be improved on. For me, an empowerment that will reach a household that will touch every life in Ikorodu, not just impacting a select few is crucial. That is what I believe in,” he said.

The youthful aspirant said that Ikorodu needs a steady representative who speaks and requests for the needs of his people without being afraid.

“The reason I want to go to the House of Assembly is because we need someone who can fight for us and someone that will speak without shaking. Someone who can bring benefits to the people of Ikorodu. I know we can do better.” Ho. Kareem Alogba, appeared before the screening committee of the APC on Sunday.
