The newly appointed member of the Lagos State Local Government Service Commission, representing Ikorodu Division, Princess Folashade Olabanji -Oba has declared her support for the representative of Ikorodu Federal Constituency, Hon. Babajimi Adegoke Benson, to continue to represent Ikorodu Division.
She described Rep. He Jimi Benson popularly called “JB”, as a man of the people who does not discriminate and is always after the development of Ikorodu.
Princess Olabanji-Oba who was the immediate past Vice Chairman, Ikorodu Local Government, declared her support for the three -term lawmaker while speaking with THE IMPACT during the Hon. JB Solidarity Walk organised by the Supervisors, Special Advisers and other council appointees in Ikorodu Division.
The walk was attended by a large number of political office holders, youth groups and others.
“It’s a love walk; solidarity walk for a leader and a representative that we all adore and this is us saying we want more. And across Ikorodu Division, he has done tremendously well and we want to say we love him and praying to GOD to for strength.
“As we go into the election, we are standing and standing tall. We stand with Hon Babajimi Banson of Ikorodu Division,” she declared.
Princess Olabanji-Oba furthered: “JB is a man of the people and he’s for everybody. What the people are saying is that this is a man that imbibes the spirit of prosperity, progress and love for his people.
“A real role model is what Hon Babajimi Benson is for us all and he lights other people’s candles and illuminates Ikorodu and these are reasons why in Ikorodu, and Lagos State, his name keeps soaring and we are selling the best of Ikorodu to the world and we are proud.”
She said that Ikorodu used the rally to further thank the federal lawmaker for all that he has been doing and also the President, Mr Bola Tinubu for his leadership.
“We are Ikorodu and we love our representative. We say a big thank you to him and the great leadership of His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for such a great spirit of leadership that we are enjoying because we are all students of his school of thought.
“Lagos leads whilst other state follows and for us, it starts with Ikorodu because we want Ikorodu to be the best division across the nation and the world,” she said.
