Seven months after the inauguration of Council Chairmen across the 57 Local Governments (LGs) and Local Council Development Areas (LCDAs) in Lagos State, the All Progressives Congress (APC), after weeks of a prolonged waiting game over the release of cabinet lists for the council areas, on Monday, finally released names of Secretaries to the Local Governments, Supervisors and Special Advisers.
In Imota LCDA of Ikorodu Division, Alhaji Fagbesan Muhammed Akeem was returned as the Secretary to the council’s administration.
Alhaji Fagbesan had served in this same capacity during the administration of the immediate past Chairman of the council, Prince Wasiu Agoro.
His appointment and that of other 15 appointees, were contained in an official memo signed by the Honourable Commissioner for Local Government, Chieftaincy Affairs and Rural Development in Lagos State, Mr. Bolaji Kayode Robert.
According to the Commissioner, he has the directive of the Governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo -Olu who has approved the appointment, to forward the list to the Executive Chairman of Imota LCDA.
Also making the list in Imota, as Supervisors is the former Council Leader, Imota LCDA Legislative Arm, Prince Babatunde Oredoyin.
Others on the list as Supervisors are Mr Muftaudeen Adetoro Sanni, Mr Olufemi Falade, Mr Sule Adesina Okedeyi, Mr Olayinka Babatunde Adebogun, Mr Olusoga Victor Akinyemi, Mrs Abosede Idowu Yekinni, Mr Sodiq Hammed Sanni, Mr Ayodele Gabriel Abass, Mrs Felicia Igwe, Comrade Odumosu Rafiu Abiodun, Morayo Solarin Akinyemi, Mr Adedotun Ademola Egberongbe, Shofowora Olumide Adeleke and Biliamin Iyanda
The 16 Cabinet members who will work with the Executive Chairman of Imota, Hon. Benson Sunday Ayodele, will be inaugurated by the council boss, soon.
