The Special Adviser to the Governor of Lagos State on Rural Development, Dr Nurudeen Yekinni Agbaje, has expressed his appreciation to the Adeboruwa of Igbogbo, His Royal Majesty, Oba (Barr.) Semiudeen Kasali, on the Excellence Award that was bestowed on him. The Lagos Governor’s aide added that the recognition humbles him.
Dr. Agbaje along with Hon. (Dr.) Aro Moshood Abiodun (AMA) member, Lagos State House of Assembly representing Ikorodu Constituency II, Omoba Hammed Olalekan Aroyewun (HOA), Executive Chairman, Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA among others were honoured with the Adeboruwa Award of Excellence at a special award ceremony held on Sunday in Igbogbo as part of the activities commemorating the ongoing 37th Igbogbo Day Celebration.

The Governor’s aide, whose efforts in developing rural areas with state projects was acknowledged by the royal father and entire Igbogbo Kingdom, expressed his appreciation in a statement.
“At the 37th edition of the Igbogbo Day Celebrations, I received the Adeboruwa Award of Excellence — a recognition that deeply humbles me.
“”This honour reflects our collective commitment to uplifting rural communities, especially across Igbogbo-Baiyeku LCDA.
My heartfelt appreciation goes to His Royal Majesty, Oba Semiudeen Orimadegun Kasali, the Adeboruwa of Igbogbo Kingdom, for this remarkable recognition.

“I also extend my gratitude to the Igbogbo Day Planning Committee and the Executive Chairman of Igbogbo-Baiyeku LCDA, Hon. Hammed Olalekan Aroyewun, for their support and partnership.”
Dr Agbaje pledged his office would continue to make desired impacts in the grassroots in accordance with Governor Babajide Sanwo – Olu’s agenda.
