Ijede: Council Chair Inspects Ongoing Construction Of Blocks Of Classrooms At Egbin, Abule Eko Pry Schools

The Executive Chairman, Ijede Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Motunrayo Gbadebo – Alogba, has extended her onsite inspection of multiple blocks of classroom across primary schools in her council.

Recall that her administration embarked upon the expansion of educational facilities to improve the standard of education.

In addition to her previous visitations to inspect the ongoing projects, Hon. Gbadebo – Alogba, along with council officials have also visited Egbin Kingdom Nursery and Primary School and Abule -Eko Community Primary School, Ijede.

The intervention which started September 23, has been progressing with most of the facilities nearing completion.

At the Egbin Nursery & Primary School, where the council’s intervention is aimed at addressing classroom overcrowding and providing a better learning environment for pupils within the community, the council is embarking on construction of a block of four classrooms and six toilet facilities.

During the visit, the council chairman noted: “This initiative is in fulfillment of our promise to expand existing classrooms and improve the standard of learning facilities across schools in Ijede LCDA.

At Abule-Eko Community Primary School, Ijede, where Hon. Gbadebo -Alogba administration’s is constructing a block of six classrooms and eight toilet facilities, which also aimed at easing classroom congestion and improving access to quality basic education for pupils within the community, she emphasised her administration’s commitment to educational development.
