The Executive Chairman of Ijede Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Motunrayo Gbadebo -Alogba has joined people globally to commemorates the 2025 World Teachers’ Day, and celebrated the builders of the society.
This year’s celebration is themed, ‘Recasting Teaching as a Collaborative Profession’.
Hon. Gbadebo -Alogba celebrated teachers, especially those in Ijede LCDA, in a statement on Sunday.
“I joined millions of Nigerians in celebrating the true heroes of our society, our teachers, on World Teachers’ Day.
“This year’s theme, ‘Recasting Teaching as a Collaborative Profession’, highlights the importance of partnership and teamwork as key drivers of educational transformation in our
communities”.
She commended the teachers for their impacts and sacrifices which she described as invaluable.
She reiterated her administration’s agenda to continue to provide support for teachers, as well as good learning environment.
“Teaching remains one of the most respected professions, with an influence that extends far beyond the classroom. Teachers are the bedrock of knowledge and the architects of our children’s future.
“I commend all teachers in Ijede LCDA for their sacrifices, dedication, hard work, and the invaluable values they impart to our children.
“As a government, we recognize the vital role of teachers in driving educational growth and nation-building. On this occasion, I reaffirm our commitment to supporting them and improving the teaching and learning environment across Ijede LCDA.
“Happy World Teachers’ Day!”.
