Ahead of July 12 Elections, Ikorodu North Traditional Ruler Offers APA-MATH Royal Blessings, Support

Hon. Ameen Olawale Ibrahim Apansile, the flag bearer of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the Saturday, July 12, Local Government Elections and his running mate, Hon. Matthew Aliu Adesanya campaign received a boost as they were blessed by the only traditional ruler in Ikorodu North Local Development Area (LCDA) – the Eweye of Isui, His Royal Majesty, Oba David Olukayode Raji.

Oba Raji also encouraged stakeholders and residents of his community to mobilise and support the APC candidates.

The APA-MATH Campaign Team had stormed Isiu and Olorunda Wards as part of the ongoing ward-to-ward campaign across Ikorodu North LCDA, taking its electoral message of inclusive leadership, development-driven governance, and people-first policies directly to the grassroots.

The Director-General of the APA-MATH Campaign Organisation, Hon.Wale Olowolagba, formally introduced the APC Chairmanship, Vice Chairmanship, and Councilorship candidates to the royal father, stakeholders and residents.

In his royal remarks, Oba David Olukayode Raji, prayed for a resounding victory at the polls for the candidates.

He charged community leaders, youth groups, and religious figures to mobilize massive support for the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

Hon. Apanishile speaking earlier reiterated his commitment to bridging the development gap within Ikorodu North LCDA. He emphasized community engagement, security improvement, rural infrastructure development, and youth empowerment as key components of his administration’s agenda.

“We want to assure you that a vote for APA-MATH is a vote for continuity, progress, and people-oriented governance,” Apanishile declared.

He urged all party members and supporters to take the campaign to every nook and cranny of Ikorodu North to secure maximum votes, and he thanked the people of Isiu for their continued support and encouragement.

The APC Ikorodu North LGA Chairman, Otunba Olasunkanmi Tijani, commended the Isiu Ward Chairperson, Hon. Agiri, and other party leaders for their efforts in mobilizing support. He encouraged residents and supporters to turn out in large numbers and vote for the APC.

After the success of the Isiu’s visit, the campaign train moved to Olorunda Ward, where the Ward Chairman, Hon. Babayemi, along with party leaders, traditional chiefs, youth representatives, and various community groups, welcomed the candidates with enthusiasm and solidarity.

Community leaders, speaking one after the other, expressed satisfaction with the visit and pledged their full support for the APA-MATH ticket in the upcoming elections.

At Olorunda, Apanishile also reiterated that if elected, his administration would be unwavering in its commitment to grassroots development and people-centered policies, assuring all present of an inclusive and responsive government.

The Councillorship candidates that were also part of the entourage that was warmly received at the two wards were Hon. Idris Liasu, Hon. Bose Benson, Hon. Riskat Ibrahim, Hon. Oluwaseyi Onabajo and Babatunde Banjoko.
