The representative of Ikorodu Constituency II in Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. Aro Moshood Abiodun (AMA) acknowledged that the Executive Public Leaders Programme (EPLP) at the Blavatnik School of Government, University of Oxford, United Kingdom (UK), recently concluded by the representative of Ikorodu Federal Constituency, Hon. Babajimi Adegoke Benson, is not only preparing him for a greater responsibility, but also as a leader for the future.
Benson, a three – term lawmaker and Chairman, House of Representatives Defense Committee just concluded a two week programme at the prestigious Oxford University, UK.

AMA stated this in a statement on Friday, congratulating the ranking federal lawmaker on the completion of the programme.
“It is with immense pride and admiration that I extend my heartfelt congratulations to my Boss, Hon. Babajimi Benson, an exceptional leader and a visionary statesman representing the good people of Ikorodu Federal Constituency at the National Assembly.

“Your recent participation in the Executive Public Leaders Programme (EPLP) at the prestigious Blavatnik School of Government, University of Oxford, stands as yet another testament to your focus on excellence, growth, and service. This transformative experience, blending global insights with real-world policy and governance challenges, has further refined your already outstanding capacity to lead with wisdom, clarity, and courage.
“You are not only preparing for greater political responsibility, but you are also laying a solid administrative and intellectual foundation that will distinguish you among leaders of the future — not just for Lagos State, but for Nigeria as a whole. Your continuous investment in knowledge and leadership development reflects the depth of your vision and the seriousness of your mission,” Hon. Aro said in elation.

He urged that his experience and knowledge acquisition should positively reflect on his representative and legislative duties as he returned to Nigeria after the training.
“As you return with renewed passion and perspective, may this Oxford experience translate into greater impact for your constituents, deeper reforms for our institutions, and a brighter future for our dear country.

“Once again, congratulations sir. You continue to make Ikorodu, Lagos, and Nigeria proud. The future indeed looks promising with leaders like you at the helm.
“Onward, always,” the state lawmaker prayed.
