The Odofin of Ikorodu Kingdom, Odofin Adewunmi Ogunsanya, SAN, has donated a brand-new bus to the Ikorodu – Oga Development Association (IKODASS) as part of the request that the association made during a visit to the house of the business mogul in Owolowo in Ikorodu.
IKODASS executives led by its chairman, Alhaji Fatai Kolawole Olayiwola had paid a courtesy visit to the Odofin Ikorodu on Friday.
In a statement by the IKODASS Publicity Secretary, Prince Dare Oshikoya, Odofin Ogunsanya was conferred the honour of a Patron of IKODASS and he was instantly decorated
Part of the delegation were eminent Ikorodu personalities and former Chairmen of the socio – economic and developmental group – Otunba (Sir) Ayodele Elessho, KJW, the Agba Akin of Ikorodu Kingdom and a former IKODASS Chairman, High Chief Banji Oreagba, Olumale Eluku of Ikorodu Kingdom, Chief Sulaimon Ogidi, Ajiroba of Ikorodu Kingdom, Chief Mansur Olowosago, Baaroyin of Ikorodu, Mr. Rotimi Erogbogbo, immediate past Chairman of IKODASS.
Odofin Ogunsanya S.A.N, warmly welcoming his guests, appreciated the initiative to pay him the visit as part of the association’s strategies in ensuring all stakeholders are carried along with IKODASS activities.
Responding to requests made by the IKODASS Chairman, Odofin Ogunsanya solved the most pressing need of the association by pledging that a brand new bus would be delivered to the IKODASS secretariat before the end of the coming week.
He also pledged his continuous support for the IKODASS programme geared towards the development of Ikorodu City.
The IKODASS Chairman speaking earlier, described Odofin Ogunsanya as a God-send for all he has been doing for Ikorodu and across the country. He also acknowledged his humility.
Alhaji Fatai presented his new administration agenda – Arise, which is his developmental plans for Ikorodu through IKODASS.
He also requested for the support of the Odofin in different areas including the need for a bus to enhance mobility.
During the visit, Ikorodu anthem and the aerial view frames of the city were presented to Odofin Ogunsanya.
