The construction giant, HiTech, today, continued construction work on the Igbogbo/Bola Ahmed Tinubu/Igbe Laara Road, with the spreading of sand dust in preparation for the continuation of laying of interlock.
Our report, who has been monitoring the progress of the project which started eight years ago, reported that the road was cordoned off from the junction of a street, to the other side of the Igbogbo stadium where the work stopped some months back down to the junction of Aina Olowu Street.
Recalled that the representative of Ikorodu Constituency II, Hon. Aro Moshood Abiodun (AMA), about two weeks ago, confirmed that the Lagos State Government has released the entire sum needed for the completion of the project, to HiTech.
The site engineer, Mr Georghe, was not available when our reporter visited the location of the project.
On enquiry from the construction workers on ground, our reporter was informed that he was not also available at the yard.
