Barely a month after two residents of Igbe -Oloja in Igbogbo/Bayeku Local Council Development Area (LCDA) were kidnapped, another incident has been recorded as a mother and her 14-year-old daughter were kidnapped by the dare devil kidnappers.
The unfortunate incident happened around 10pm on Saturday, when about eight kidnappers that were fully armed forced their way into a house at Liberty Estate close to Igbe Laara in Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA.
The Chairman, Local Security Taskforce in the state, Mr Dare Igbasan, confirmed the latest kidnapping. He added that he met with the husband of the victims whom he said informed him that his kidnapped wife and daughter are not with their phones which could have aided communication.
Sources informed our reporter that the family of the kidnapped victims are waiting for ransom demand from the kidnappers.
It was also gathered that the Area N Command, Ikorodu Divisional Police headquarters, Ijede Police Station and the Lagos State Tactical team with the JTF, have been duly informed and are acting on the matter.
