The All Progressives Congress (APC) Chairmanship candidate in Ikorodu North Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Ameen Olawale Ibrahim (Apanisile) and his running mate, Hon. Mathew Adesanya, have received boosts for their campaign as the Ayangbure of Ikorodu Kingdom, His Royal Majesty (Oba) Dr. Kabir Adewale Shotobi, Adegorushen V, gave the flagbearers his royal blessings.
The duo received the royal blessings and support when they led their campaign team, known as APA- MATH, on a visitation to Oba Shotobi at his palace on Monday.
In another positive development, leadership and members of the Tricycle Owners and Operators Association of Nigeria (TOOAN), visited the APC Secretariat in Ikorodu North LCDA, to also give support to the duo.

The Director-General of the APA-MATH Campaign Organization, Hon. Wale Olowolagba, addressing the royal father during the visitation, said that the visitation was aimed at seeking the monarch’s royal blessings and also strengthening engagement with the traditional institution as the campaign intensifies.
He stressed the importance of aligning with the traditional institution, while formally introducing the flag bearer to the Alaiyeluwa.
In his royal remarks, Oba Shotobi urged the candidates and their team to maintain peace, unity, and forgiveness. He also offered prayers for the success of the candidates.

Oba Shotobi expressed his admiration for the team’s commitment and urged residents of Ikorodu North to turn out in large numbers during the election, to vote for them, so as to attract more democratic dividends to the area.
The royal father, known for his unwavering support for democratic processes, gave his full royal blessing and moral support, charging the candidates to uphold integrity, fairness, and people-centered leadership.
Meanwhile, during their visit to the APC Secretariat, TOOAN, led by its Branch Chairman, Alhaji Muritala Abana, also pledged full support for the candidates, citing their dedication to community development, infrastructural improvement, and inclusive governance.

Hon. Olowolagba, speaking, expressed his deep appreciation for the endorsements, describing them as reflection of growing confidence in the APC’s grassroots-based vision and leadership.
In his remarks, the APC Chairmanship candidate, Hon. Apanishile expressed gratitude to the royal father and his chiefs for the warm reception, and promised to continue to engage royal fathers to seek guidance and support.
Among those that were part of the APC flagbearers were: Hon Adekoya, Leader of the House, Ikorodu North Legislative Council, Hon. Adeniran ‘Wake-Up” Adeyemi, Deputy Leader, Hon.Bola Daramola, Hon.Bilikis Aderoju, Hon.Aro Balogun, Hon.Sulaimon Adewusi, Hon.Basirat Babatunde, Hon.Ambali Olutusi, Hon.Shoaga, Hon.Kehinde Babayemisi and APC Ward Chairmen across Ikorodu North.
