Lagos Lawmaker Supports Students In Ikorodu With Educational Materials

Hammed Olalekan Aroyewun, APC Chairmanship Candidate, Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA, Mr. Akeem Smith, Chairman, Special Committee on Rehabilitation of Public Schools and Mrs. Abisola Dokunmu-Adegbite, Permanent Secretary, Lagos State Ministry of Education among others with the some of the students that received bags and exercise books donated by Hon. Aro Moshood.

As part of his educational support initiatives, Hon. Aro Moshood Abiodun (AMA), a member of the Lagos State House of Assembly representing Ikorodu Constituency II, donated school bags and exercise books to students of Owode – Ibelefun Junior Secondary School, Owode, Ibeshe, Igbogbo/Baiyeku Local Council Development Area of Ikorodu Division, Lagos State, Southwest, Nigeria.

The lawmaker donated a total of 204 bags and 1000 pieces of 60 – leaves exercise books, and commended the Ibeshe Kingdom Development Association (IKIDASS) under the Chairmanship of Asiwaju Kaoli Olusanya, for the laudable initiative of establishing a junior secondary school in the community.

He made the donation during the official commissioning of Owode – Ibelefun Junior Secondary School built by IKIDASS, on Wednesday.

“This is a commendable and visionary initiative aimed at improving access to quality education in our community.

“As part of efforts to support and encourage learning among our young pupils, I also presented 204 school bags and 1,000 pieces of 60-leaves exercise books to the students. This gesture reaffirms our unwavering commitment to educational development and the welfare of our children,” he said.

He further commended IKIDASS for its selfless and forward-thinking contribution to the future of children and urged the students to embrace excellence, take their studies seriously, and honour this legacy with discipline and ambition.

Hon. Aro also called on parents to play their roles with vision and purpose, while reminding teachers of their noble responsibility to inspire, guide, and mould young minds with dedication and passion.
