The Ijede Muslim Community has offered a special prayer session for Hon. Aro Moshood Abiodun (AMA), the representative of Ikorodu Constituency II in the Lagos State House of Assembly.
The Grand Chief Imam of Ijede Kingdom, Alhaji Sulaiman Olatunji Akinjobi, on Democracy Day led a delegation of Imams and Islamic leaders from across Ijede LCDA to the AMA Hotel and Suites for the prayer.

According to the Media Director/Personal Assistant to the lawmaker, Razaq Kabiru Babatunde, the session was organized to express gratitude to God for the progress recorded since Hon. Aro assumed office and to invoke divine blessings for continued success, long life, and prosperity.
He added that the spiritual event was marked by heartfelt supplications and unity among the religious leaders.

Speaking at the special prayer, Grand Chief Imam Akinjobi emphasized the importance of prayer for leadership and community development, noting that Hon. AMA’s tenure so far has been marked by “visible progress and impactful initiatives.”
Adding to the significance of the event was the presence of Alhaji Fathiu and other prominent members of the Salisu Family. Their attendance came as a pleasant surprise to Hon. AMA, who expressed deep gratitude for their support and prayers.

“I am overwhelmed and sincerely thankful to see such great men of faith and respected elders come together to pray for me. This truly means a lot,” Hon. Aro said while reacting to the presence of the Islamic leaders.
