The chairmanship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Igbogbo/Baiyeku Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hammed Olalekan Aroyewun (HOA), has charged Nigerian children, especially those in Ikorodu Division and Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA, in particular on the need for them to have dream, work towards it and never stop believing in themselves.
Aroyewun who described the children as radiant stars that illuminate the society and future of every nation, gave the charge in a statement that he personally signed to commemorate the 2025 Children’s Day.
“On this special occasion of Children’s Day 2025, I extend my warmest greetings and heartfelt love to every child in this vibrant community. Today, we celebrate you the radiant stars of our present and the brilliant leaders of the future. Your laughter, curiosity, and boundless dreams light up our hearts and inspire us to build a better tomorrow.
“To me, Children’s Day is more than a celebration; it is a reminder of our sacred responsibility to provide you with quality education, safe spaces to play and grow, and opportunities to thrive,” the young candidate said.
While charging every child to dream, pursue their vision and believe, Aroyewun also thanked parents and teachers for efforts in guiding and protecting them.
“To the exceptional parents, guardians, and teachers of our beloved children, thank you for your tireless efforts in shaping these young minds. Your sacrifices and dedication are the foundation upon which we build a brighter future.
“To our dear children, today is your day! Dream big, explore fearlessly, and never stop believing in yourselves. You are the pride of all of us , and I am committed to walking this journey with you, ensuring that your tomorrow is filled with endless possibilities,” he charged.
“Happy Children’s Day, my beloved young champions! May your lives be filled with joy, knowledge, and the courage to soar to great heights,” Aroyewun prayed.
